Conversation With The Puppy Girls

Me:  I need to talk to you girls about something.
CiCi and GinGin:  What is it Mommy?
Me:  Well, you know how you go over to play with Levi?  (The Jack Russell next door)
CiCi and GinGin: Yeah Mommy, he's a lot of fun.
Me:  It's not really nice the way you tease him.
CiCi and GinGin: What do you mean?
Me:  Have you not noticed that you chase each other and when you run towards our yard he can't follow?
CiCi and GinGin: Yeah--that's pretty funny isn't it?
Me:  Well, no it's not fair because you are teasing him.
GinGin:  Why can't he follow?  You know one time he followed me and chased me all the way to the back yard and I had to jump up in your arms.
Me:  Yeah well that was kinda different, you know you were in uh... heat.
CiCi and GinGin:  Oh yeah.  And he kept barking when he tried to get back to his yard...what's up with that?
Me:  That's what I was trying to tell you.  He wears a collar and there is an invisible fence buried in the yard and when he tries to chase you it gives him a little shock.
CiCi and GinGin: What is a shock?
Me:  Well..you know when yawl get up in my face and lick it and I tap you on your noses?
CiCi and GinGin: Yeah.
Me:  Well it's kinda like that only a hundred times worse.
CiCi and GinGin: What is a hundred times?
Me:  Okay, just take my word for it, stop going over there trying to get him to chase you back to your yard.
CiCi and GinGin: Why?\
Me:  I just told you, it hurts him.
CiCi and GinGin: What is hurt?
Me:  Hurt is when somebody steps on your tail.

CiCi and GinGin: Oh.
CiCi and GinGin: Well we can't help it if we are cute long-haired blonds and irresistible.  He's on his own.
Me:  Sigh........
(That's #4 grandchild asleep in the backround--the puppies are playing and I'm praying they won't wake her up)

Males will go through great pain and anguish just to sniff a pretty blonde. Levi is doomed. Your girls are just about the cutest doggies EVER (and when Holly's mom says that, she means it!!).

I have 2 Jack's that would love to play with your girls :) Well, one for sure...the old boy, Mack, likes to sit in the sun shine, but Jackson Brown loves to run around the yard.
Who's in the photo with you??
Deb :)

LOL

i used to have a coy dog named daisy who lived outside, she was pretty big. i also had a rat terrier named elvis who was half as small as her who was an inside dog. one winter i had some pecan logs about 3' wide standing up ready to split for firewood..near enough to daisy that her chain reached to them. we let elvis out and he didn't come scratching at the door to come in, so we stepped out to call him. yep...elvis was standing on top of a log, and there was daisy, backed right up to that log so elvis could reach her. they both had big smiles on their faces. no puppies though,whew...knock on wood :D

Invisible Dog Fences have evolved over the past 25 years. The expensive and somewhat ugly chain link dog fences have fallen by the wayside in favor of the new electronic dog fences, which use invisible radio waves. Dogs have a habit of jumping over or digging under chain link dog fences or other solid barrier dog fences. An Invisible Fence is a good idea if you want to keep your dog safe. A wireless dog fence is great because you never have to worry about fixing broken wires. A Wireless Pet Fence is a good option for pet containment.
