This is our ten year old neighbor, he lives on the other side of the lake.

He caught this 7 pound monster bass yesterday.

I used to want David to clean some of his catch and have a fish supper, until one of my Gdaughters threw a dead mouse in the lake and a bass jumped up and ate him as soon as he hit the water.
Hmmmm catch and release.

That IS a monster bass--I'll bet he was pretty excited! Bass are pretty smart--my Mom used to feed them and they knew her voice and a whole herd of them would flock over to the bank (do fish flock?) when she called "Here fishy fishy fishy". Now they know my voice, too, but it's too freaking hot to sit out there and toss them crumbs.
You know our next door neighbor feeds them and says the same thing. And I thought he was crazy, so I'm glad to hear you say this.
He must have been over the moon with that catch!
